CAMP PROGRAM

Information about the camp's program, music lineup, and age requirements.

What is the camp?

The Adventure Summer Music Camp brings young musicians together for a week of music-making, new friendships and exciting performances.

With two programs designed for different experience levels, Junior and Senior campers will rehearse and perform music from some of the world's most iconic adventure soundtracks.

Both camps offer a fun, challenging and supportive environment, with rehearsals led by experienced conductors and tutors, culminating in a live concert performance.

What Music Will We Play?

This year's theme is ADVENTURE!

Across both camps, musicians will explore exciting music inspired by some of the greatest adventures in film and television, including:

- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Indiana Jones
- The Hobbit
- Back to the Future
- Disney's Up
- Moana
& more

Each camp will feature music selected to suit its participants, with Junior Camp exploring accessible arrangements and Senior Camp tackling more challenging orchestral and vocal repertoire.

Who CAN ATTEND?

Junior Camp | Ages 10-16

Designed for younger musicians developing their instrumental skills, Junior Camp offers an opportunity to build confidence, improve ensemble playing and experience performing with other musicians.

Senior Camp | Ages 13–24

For more experienced instrumentalists and singers ready to take on challenging repertoire in a full-scale orchestral and vocal setting.

Both camps welcome musicians from across Queensland and beyond, provided they meet the minimum skill requirements.

See the 'Instruments' tab for details about minimum skill levels.

Auditions

Singers may be asked to submit a short video recording to help our vocal tutors assess their experience and suitability for the program.

No audition is required for instrumentalists. However, participants should ensure they meet the minimum skill requirements for their chosen camp before registering.

We encourage students and their teachers to review these requirements carefully. Our team may contact applicants if additional information is needed to determine their suitability.
